"Can you just take a couple of minutes to tell me about yourself?"
It's a question that most candidates expect and the one they have the most difficulty answering. What a lot of my clients ask me about this question is "What do they want to know?"
This open ended question invites all sorts of answers but what hiring managers expect are responses that are relevant to the needs of the hiring organization and that demonstrate how your experience can benefit the company you are interviewing
